Hi, Sadly we are on the on premise version so this is not a valid option...
Hi, @Jtbonner1986
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
Indeed, as mentioned in the documentation, data used in reports to dynamically construct server names, database names, or URLs are considered dynamic data sources. However, these data sources may not be visible in the data source settings.
The official documentation states that only data sources detected when the report is uploaded can be refreshed. Below is a screenshot of our test results:
This error also exists in the screenshot you provided.Typically, if your data source only contains dynamic data sources, it cannot be configured for refresh in the report server. The data source configuration credentials section is grayed out.
The reason you can configure the refresh is that your data source includes non-dynamic data sources. Below are our test results for a project that includes both dynamic and refreshable data sources. This project can be configured for refresh, but the refresh fails, similar to the issue you encountered:
For more details, please refer to the documentation:
You can try using the RelativePath and query options in conjunction with the Web.Contents M function. This approach can also refresh queries that reference Power Query parameters.
