Excel Edit Assistance

  Hi All,   Please could anyone assist by trying to fix up the date table i tried duplicating the spread sheet by removing the Months columns  and inserting only Date and actuals COLUMNS  so...

    since there are only months value, so how to define exact date in those months?

     

    Regardless, if you want to get months, quarters, and year value, then you need to transform your excel data.

    something like below.

    - original data

    - unpivot 2025 Annual Target

    - unpivot other column except ID, Attribut, and Value (Attribut and Value come from previous unpivot)

    - extract Attribut using before SPACE delimiter to get year value

    - in power bi, create a calculated column to calculate quarter

Hi snamalok,

Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

It looks like you are trying to read a Data table and is unable to do it as you tried duplication and PowerQuery is throwing error with duplicate values. As Irwan has already responded to your query, kindly go through his response and check if the issue can be resolved.
