Exam DA-100
- Anonymous6 years ago
Hi MCornish ,
Thanks for sharing.
There are obvious syntax errors in B&D.
So the correct answer is A or C?
Best Regards,
Jay
Hi, I've got a bunch of quiz questions to help prepare for the DA-100 at www.learndatainsights.com. Like the exam, they're mostly focused on real-life scenarios rather than on memorising points. If you take the quizzes please do let me know what you think by filling out the feedback form at tinyurl.com/LDIfeedbackform.
Note that these aren't official Microsoft exam material either and I think are a fair bit harder than the real exam but better that way around 🙂
Thanks

rsaprano Why does your website ask access for photo/videos etc while singing up using Microsoft account?
Please fix it.
Unforunetly , I can not post snap here but it reads like below..
learndatainsights needs your permission to:
Access your email addresses
learndatainsights will be able to see the email addresses in your profile.
View your profile info and contact list
learndatainsights will be able to see your profile info, including your name, gender, display picture, contacts, and friends.
Access photos and videos
learndatainsights will be able to see your photos and videos on OneDrive, those shared with you, and their tags and comments.

Hi jainbhavesh9
Thanks for brining this to my attention. I have no idea why it would be asking for those permissions though have asked our developer to look into this as a matter of urgency. I can assure you that we are not collecting or using any of the data points you mentioned below - we're using a wordpress plugin to provide a standard oAuth login capability (so that you don't have to manage a separate username/password for the site), and all we capture from there is:
- First name
- last name
- username
- application name
- social profile url
- profile picture
- the identifier in the social application
We take data privacy very seriously (it's something i'm personally quite passionate about) - you can read the privacy policy here.
As soon as I've figured out why the app is requesting those permissions I'll get it fixed and will update the post here though rest assured we have no intention of collecting any more data than we need to!
In the meantime, can you help me to try and figure this out by letting me know which account type you were logging in with please? Was it a hotmail account?
Thanks
Rishi

Hi,
Just to confirm this has now been resolved and the permission scope reduced back - the authentication app just asks for your email address now.
By the way, you can see (and revoke) the permissions of any app you have authenticated via Microsoft (live) at https://account.live.com/consent/Manage.
If you previously granted LDI permissions that you're not happy with, please feel free to revoke these and it will ask you again with the new permissions next time you log in!
Thanks
Rishi
