Error parsing datetime from SharePoint file Date Created

When I import the files in a SharePoint folder, I get an error stating that the date/time for date created and date modified cannot be parsed.

There is no "Change type" step that I can replace/edit.

I'm trying to pull the date created in to my report.

FYI - for anyone facing the same issue.

It turned out that the SharePoint site had US date/time settings defined, which Power BI was then trying to bring across in a UK format. Hence where we had "8/17/19", Power BI was unable to parse it as a UK date.

We changed the locale and date/time settings for the SharePoint site and it now works.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Based on my test using the SharePoint Folder connector in the latest version 2.71.5523.821 of Power BI Desktop, it works well. You may try to upgrade the Power BI Desktop.

Thanks Amy,

We'll look to update to the latest version. Strange that it's inconsistent though - some files have a created date and others don't.
