Error opening portal report in Power BI Desktop

I have an intermittent issue when opening a report from the report server portal in Desktop.  Error "Cannot reset the promiseStoredDesktophostService js ObjectId."  This happens to only one user, an administrator, and not with a specific report.  The user has uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop app but the issue persists.  The report server and the desktop are Jan 2022 and the deskop is the RS version.  Tracing was enabled in desktop the last time the error occurred but there was no meaningful information.  Has anyone encountered this issue?

@amitchandak Thank you for the suggestion.  There are no outstanding updates.  Brought Microsoft in on this issue.  Even when tracing is enable in desktop there was no clue abou thte issue.  Fortunately this only happens for one user and very infrequently.

@Anonymous, Please check if there are any windows updates pending. I usually get some unknown errors with new version of power bi when windows updates are pending
