Error: oledb or odbc error data.format reached buffer end

Hi to all,

I'm trying to import from a folder containing 670 json files but the loading of the files stop because of this error: oledb or odbc error data.format reached buffer end.

What does this mean? How can I fix it? Is there any limit in the number/size of files that can be imported?

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Francesca

Hi @botti23,

By connecting to a folder, you can import data from multiple files at once, such as a series of Excel files of CSV files. The files contained within your selected folder appear in Query Editor as binary content.

I have tested it on my local environment, I can load a folder which contains about 1000 filde into Power BI. So in your scenario, what's the json file size? The issue could be related to your file size.

Charlie Liao
