    Anonymous   

    You need to check the difference between your colleague and your computer configuration and powerbi version,or try to uninstall the software and reinstall. If the modification can be done on your colleague’s computer, it’s not a pbi file problem.

Anonymous Are you completely unable to open this report now? Can you still view it on the service?

Hi v-janeyg-msft  , 

I still can view it in the service and even manage to download the PBIx file from the service but I can open it in Power bi Desktop but I need to add one change to a query in Power Query and also need to refresh the report as i did not configure a sheduled report.

      v-janeyg-msft  no i was trying to open the report and add just a simple transformation in a query and this is where I began encountering the problem.

        Anonymous  ......This error will appear when you open the pq interface, right?
