Hi

I need to drag in some data from another PBI dashboard which i don't control, however, i have been provided with the Power query code from the background to copy into my dashboard and import said data.

The code is basically importing data from a sharepoint list and then renaming some columns. I can see the connection is working fine as i can preview the data in the editor. However at the final 'Transform Sample File' step it throws up the following error;

Expression.Error: We cannot convert a value of type Table to type Binary.
Details:
Value=[Table]
Type=[Type]

How do i go about fixing this??

Hi @Anonymous ,

For this type of problem, it should be a logical error that the "field" in question should be a boolean value and the data type it displays is a text (or some other type).

@Anonymous , do you have a true/false value column, FOr that you are getting a wrong value, Check the values that are coming
