Hi,

 

I got error an message when i would like to group by customer key and summing the revenue. 

The expression refers to multiple columns. Multiple columns cannot be converted to a scalar value.

 

Demo table = SUMMARIZE(
    ALLSELECTED(ESD),
    ESD[Customer ke y],
    "Revenue",SUM(ESD[Net turnover (EUR)])

 

How can i solve it ?

    what is [Net Turnover]? is it a measure or column?

    are you sure you create a table and not a measure?

    I also see you have no closing parenthesys ")" for statement

    and also I see an excess space here

      I want to create the new measure to sum the net turnover by customer key group. 

       

       

       

      Demo = 
SUMMARIZE(
    ALLSELECTED(ESD),
    ESD[Customer key],

        Hi Anonymous 

        Your measure is returning a table now. That is not allowed and from what I understand it is not what you need either. You probably need a SUMX on what you currently have or something along those lines.

        That use of summarize is not recommended. Better to use SUMMARIZE only for generating the base table, not for adding columns. You can use ADDCOLUMNS for that or SUMMARIZECOLUMNS
