Hi there!
I have PPU license in my company. I am trying to connect to a power BI dataset which I published in PRO WORKSPACE.
But I get the following error for it. Why is it I am getting this error? Also the power BI dataset is connected to Azure SQL Db. We had to create a PRO workspace as some of my clients have PRO license and some have PPU license.
Thanks.
Hi @Anonymous ,
One reason for the error could be that the user who is trying to access the report is not added as a user in the gateway connection. You can check the gateway settings and make sure the user has permission to access the data source. Another reason could be that the data model settings are not enabled for editing in the Power BI service. You can enable this preview feature by selecting Settings > Advanced > Data model settings > Users can edit data models in the Power BI service (preview) in the workspace where the dataset is published.

Hi @amitchandak I am the admin of the workspace. I dont think access should be an issue here. My Account is PPU License and I am publishing the dataset in PRO Workspace. Does that create any error?
