Hi, I am having a problem with report builder and don't know where else to put this.
I have a report that I built in Report Builder that has a Power BI dataset as the datasource. Everything was working fine until I went and refreshed the dataset. Now I am getting an error in Report Builder saying "An error has occurred during report processing. Cannot read the next data row for the dataset 'xxxxx'. The connection either timed out or was lost. The operation has timed out."
I went into the web app and downloaded the .pbix and redid my credentials thinking that was the problem, but it didn't solve it. Any help would be much appreciated.

It's been a while, but if I remember right, it was an issue with the data. The data starts out in a SharePoint list. I deleted the last record and re-added it. Once I did that, the report ran just fine.
Hi,Have the issue been resolved? If Yes, Could you please tell how to solve. We are having the same issue.
Thank you,
Sri

Thank you for your reply.I really appreciate it.
@aak - Tough to troubleshoot, You could check the Issues forum here:
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
And if it is not there, then you could post it.
If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
@Greg_Deckler - Thanks, I think I will go ahead and put in the ticket. I'll report back when I have an answer!
Hi @aak ,
Have the issue been resolved? If Yes, could you please show us the solution to help others having the similar issue and accept it as the solution ? We will appreciate you so much, thanks.
Best Regards,
Amy
No, it hasn't been resolved. I am currently working with Microsoft to fix it. I'll post the solution when I have it.
@aak , this either host is not reachable and credentials. Check the ip of the machine where it errors out is whitelisted or allowed.
