Hey,

Can you please describe when you get the error message

  • Opening the Power BI File
  • Do you have administrative rights on the machine where you get the error
  • Opening a Report
  • Is there a Direct Query Connection
  • Trying to connect to the SQL Server instance (where is the instance located: on your machine, on-premises, or somewhere in the cloud)

Hi @TomMartens,

I'm used import button.

Hi @melina,

Try running Power BI Desktop as administrator and then check.

hi @prateekraina,

Done running as administrator but still pop up the same error as picture above.

 Hi @melina,

Issue has got to be with your machine related to security/permissions.
Check below screenshot and see whether you hold permission to access this cache.key file.

 Hi @prateekraina,

Why i only have just 2 folders?

Hi @melina,

No idea about that buddy. Try clearing your cache as shown in below screenshot and then try:

If still issue persists, try reinstalling Power BI Desktop.
