#Error displayed in Text Box in Power BI Report Builder

Hi Experts,

 

I have created a table in Power BI Report Builder which has few columns and values. Whenever, I run the report, I am getting #Error displayed instead of the actual value i.e. SUM(=Fields!Amount.Value). It displays correct integer value if I don't use SUM aggregation.

I have also tried this but still it shows #error:

=SUM(IIF(Fields!Amount.Value=0, 0, Fields!Amount.Value))

 

Could you please advise how it can be fixed?

    I have solved it myself.  The error was happening because the field was a string. I just converted the field to int and its resolved.

     

    =SUM(IIF(INT(Fields!Amount.Value)=0, 0, INT(Fields!Amount.Value)))

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    Can you share the error details please?

     

    In your DAX I see there is a problem:

    =SUM(IIF(Fields!Amount.Value=0, 0, Fields!Amount.Value))

     

    The higlighted area in RED. It should be IF

     

    Just try adding more details to your query.

      I am facing this in Power BI Report Builder. I think your response is more specific to Power BI Desktop.
