Error about version mismatch when opening report
Strange errors since yesterday.
I open up Power BI Desktop. Create a brand new report and save the pbix file.
Then close Power BI Desktop.
When I open the report again I have an error stating the report was made with a newer version of Power BI Desktop then I currently use which could cause failing queries or so.
It does open, but takes a long long time consuming full CPU and memory of my laptop, even with a very small report and tiny dataset.
Is this a bug in the new Desktop version? I don't see a newer version (2.79.5768.663). By the way, just clicking the Info button to view the version takes about a minute.....

BIntelligence , I did not saw any such issue recently. You can check and log ticket at
