Error: Your data can't be refreshed because the credentials are invalid

Hello gentlemen and ladies, 

My Power BI desktop is giving the following error: 

Can anyone please help how to solve this?

I read on the community that the solution is to update the desktop version, but only if I created the files in the desktop version. 

This is the case with all the Power Bi files that I created. 

This problems occurs when I try to shedule the refresh dates. 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

If this is the first time you are going to refresh the data online, you will need to hit on "edit credentials", since the ones stored in your pbix files wont have effect on power bi online.

What's your data source? Are you using the personal gateway or on-premise gateway for refresh?

In addition, could you post the whole/detailed error message, so that we can help further investigate on this issue?

The data source is Lavastorm, without a gateway. 

My colleagues have access to Lavastorm but I don't, could that be a reason? 

Unfortunately, I can't show you the whole error message due to our security rules.
