Error: Visual appears on all report tabs - cannot be deleted

Hello

I have a problem that I can think of in a couple of different reports that I'm building; I put a visual in a tab (for example, report page 6), and suddenly it appears on all my report pages in that pbix file - and it can't be removed again.

On report page 6, it also appears in the selection pane, I can change and delete it as I want, but when I delete it, there is a duplicate of it that continues to be displayed on page 6 of the report and on all other pages of the report. So now I'm stuck with this visual on all my report pages...

It does not appear in the selection pane of any of the report pages.
I can select it and move it, even change the values and filters on it, but I can't delete it (when I hit delete, or select Delete through the ... in the visual header - nothing happens).

I also tried to remove the underlying query, but the visual persists on all pages of the report, as does a blank visual, superimposed on top of all other visuals.

I've also tried copying everything to a new pbix file, it also doesn't work.

The issue started occurring in an earlier version of Power BI Desktop and persists after upgrading to Version: 2.79.5768.1082 64-bit (March 2020).

It has happened to me in 2 different cases, in 2 different reports.

The performance analyzer does not capture anything on it.

The problem also persists in the report when I publish it to the Power BI service.

I have been looking online frantically for a solution to the problem, but I can find absolutely nothing in it..
