Error Msg: The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed.
I have a semantic model that has suddenly stopped refreshing on schedule through service. The full error message is this:
Processing error: An unexpected exception occurred. The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed.
The model has been stable for numerous months and I'm not aware of any major changes to it. I can refresh it in Desktop just fine, then publish to our workspace, but it always returns this error. It is a mixed bag of Import and Direct Query. The sources are Snowflake, SQL, and a few static files. Again, this model has worked fine in the past.
I have 2 other models that use the same gateway and they are refreshing without issue, so it does not appear to be a gateway issue.
The error message is so non-specific that I can't even begin to troubleshoot. Has anyone experienced this and have any recommendations for a resolution?

If you have premium you can connect to the model in the service with SQL profiler and look at the logs

Are you using Gateways to refresh your data when its published in the service? Since it works in desktop it seems like there is a difference when refreshing it when published. If you are using a gateway, check the permissions of the service account or user that the gateway is using to refresh the data.
