Error Message "this request requires buffering data to succeed issue"

Hi Team,

 

I am not able publish any of the reports from PBI desktop and below is the error I am getting like "this request requires buffering data to succeed"

 

In PBI Service also I am facing similar kind of issue.

 

I am not able to find the root cause for the issue.

Help me on resolving the issue.

    gowrishankar65,

    What is your Power BI Desktop version? Are you able to upload PBIX file using Get Data->File option in Power BI Service?

      Hi Anonymous,

       

      I am using the Aug - 2018 version,

       

      upload PBIX file using Get Data->File option in Power BI Service

       

      In Power BI service also, I am getting the error 

       

      I was not able to find anything related to the error.

    Hi @ gowrishankar65 

    I was able to publish a report today but the next time I tried to update it I got the same error message. 

    So I was wondering if you ever found a solution for it...?

      I faced the same error msg multiple times,while my .pbix report was on local storage.

      My navigation was : Get data - > File - > local Storage

       

      Then I saved my .pbix report on OneDrive - Business,

      then my navigation was: Get data - > File - > OneDrive - Business

      and the report was successfully published on PBI Service

       

      Hope similar solution would work for you.

    Hi everyone, 

     

    I'm encountering the same error message when trying to publish my report. "An error occured while attempting to publish...This request requires buffering data to succeed."

     

    Has anyone found a solution for this issue?
