Hello,
There is a problem happening with my Power BI file. I cant update my data.
The following message appears to me:
"Value Encoding failure - Data ID range is too large"
I don't know what to do, because untill last week it was everything ok with the file.
Does anyone have a clue about what can be happening?
Thanks!
It will appear if some values have an extensive character length. Please kindly check your data.
Hi @v-diye-msft ,
Thanks for your awnser.
I'm trying to check my data, but untill now I can't find anything
Do you have any tip about how can I check the character length in the Power Query?
You can use the Text.Length function:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerquery-m/text-length
