Error Message "There is an error in XML document (1, 1)" when starting Power BI Desktop

I started having issues with Power BI Desktop akin the issue below

Cleared the temp, reinstalled multiple times nothing seems to be working. PBError.PNG

Hi @Anonymous ,

The error message only indicates that there is a problem when reading a XML file, we can try to use Process Monitor  (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/procmon) to locate this XML file, then try to fix this problem.
