Error Message During Login in Power BI Desktop

Hi, I started to get this message when trying to login in the desktop app.   The login window opens, I enter my email and I get this message. I don't even get to enter my password.   Tried...

I just tested at my end, it is working fine. Was it working before for you? I believe you already installed most recent destop version ( Sep 2018 release)

Yea, it's been working for me OK so far. I have actually never seen such message before.


My version is 2.62.5222.761 64-bit (September 2018)

    Do you install directly by downloading powerbi desktop, or use windows 10 market place ?

      Directly. I actually did not know about market place.

       

      The last time I logged in successfully was Friday. Same version.

        I mean "Microsoft Store"  available on winows 10

         

        Try to install using "microsoft store" and check if that works.

         

         

        Seems like it is very specific to your installation.
