[Lasttwelvemonth] needs to be a measure(return single value)or a certain value.
If it's a column, you will need to wrap it with MAX(), MIN() or SELECTEDVALUE() function according to your need.
If it's already a measure, please share the formula with us for further check.

You need to make sure the datatype of the [lasttwelvemonths] is set to date.
