The "Error in Query" message indicates that there is a problem with the data or query step you are trying to transform. Try the following to troubleshoot errors:
Check for any red text or error icons in the Data Preview column.
In the Applied steps pane, look for any error indicators next to the step name.
Click step by step to determine in which step the error occurred.
Click Advanced Editor to view the M-code for the query. Review the code to identify potential sources of error.
Consider using an error handler such as "Try... otherwise" to catch and manage errors.
In some cases, checking the error log can give you more details. This can be done in the Diagnostic Tools tab of Power BI Desktop.
