Enhancing Report Accessibility for Color-Blind Users in Power BI
Hello everyone, I've been working on a series of reports in Power BI and am seeking advice on how to make these visuals more accessible for color-blind users.
I've tried using the color-blind friendly palette but still received feedback that some elements are not distinct enough. Has anyone experimented with additional customization or found certain practices that ensure better clarity and accessibility?
Are there specific DAX functions or formatting tips that might help in emphasizing data differently?
I'd appreciate any examples or resources you could share!

I am glad to help you.
One approach to the contrast issue is to choose colors with the highest possible contrast and avoid sometimes fancy but low-contrast combinations, such as dark gray on top of light gray.
You can also change the theme. For example, Power BI already offers a high-contrast theme by default and a theme for color-blind people:
