Enabling Power BI connect to ADLS through Service Principal

Hello Anonymous - Coming back on this after checking multiple options.
I understand currently - the solution you listed above works on Embedded Power BI ( i.e, a Power BI report gets embedded into SP or any web portals) and not directly on Power BI App. Is that the right understanding ?
If yes - this doesnt help much today - as I am trying to build a dashboard on Power BI Workspace that displays the meta data information.
