I have a dataset that contains the date that certain actions took place. The users need to be able to filter that date with >= so they can just see actions from a certain date. I have a slicer to bring out the date and formatted to "between" but in desktop the format of the date reverts to mm/dd/yyyy despite the build setting it to dd/mm/yyyy.
Is there an alternative way of enabling the user to set the >= option?
thanks
Thanks for your response. I have checked all regional settings and they are correctly set to English (United Kingdom). The dates in the report are in the correct format, it just seems to happen in the Slicer of either "Between", "Before", or "After". I have logged an issues, so I guess we'll see what comes of that.
@CWitts , we also have an option for before just like between. A relative date slicer is another option. But they should follow the format set in column tools.
Try regional setting : https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/How-to-apply-UK-date-format-dd-mm-yyyy-in-Date-sli...
If that is not following the format set in column tools, log an issue https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
