Hi,
I am stuck at an incident.
I am trying to apply filter on all pages, but want to make a single selection. However it did not met my business need as the end user could still make multiple selections by holding ctrl key. Kindly suggest a way out of this situation.
Eg: the user should be allowed to choose only one option between the 3 available options at a time.
Group A, Group B or Group C.
Thanks,
Akash0800

Hi,
Finally since nothing worked. We ended up adding a slicer.
Thanks,
Akash
Hi Akash,
You can change the Slicer settings in Visualization pane, you can diselect all the options and opt for Single Select
And this should be able to solve your problem.

Any updates to this? I'm still seeing the same thing.
@darkinvader read the question. He said filter, not slicer.
I'm seeing the same thing. Single selection slicer setting is not being transfered during publishing to the service
@akash0800 , enable the single select option for the slicer in the property
if you need single select with all

Hi Amit,
I applied single select, but the problem here is that the end user is still able to make multiple selections.
I actually wanted to have only one selection at any given time. But this is getting override by holding ctrl key.
Thanks,
Akash
Infact we want to achieve this functionality without using a slicer.
