Empty report on Power BI Desktop
So When i try to download a power bi report from the power bi service and open it i am not able to view any of the pages from the report. I am able to view all the measures and data modeling of the report but i am now able to view any of the pages the whole report is just blank but if the report is shared to through teams or mail then i am able view all the pages in the report through my power bi desktop . I am facing this problem only in case when i try to download the report from power bi service , i have tried this with other browsers yet i am facing the similar problem.

This is a version mismatch between the desktop and the service. When you download a report from the service, the file's schema does not match your installed desktop build, so the data model loads but the visuals are blank. Please follow either of these below steps:
- Install the Microsoft store version of power bi desktop, it auto updates to the same build the service uses.
- Since it started right after an update, try to roll back to the previous desktop version, it works.

Hi Sambhav_1,
When you download a .pbix from the Power BI Service, it packages your current session state, including any applied report bookmarks, slicer states, or page-level filters. If these are malformed or incompatible with your Desktop version, Desktop renders the report with blank pages (visuals fail to load) while the data model remains intact.
My power bi dekstop version is upto date and it's happening with all the Reports which are their in the power bi service and i even intalled my power bi desktop again yet i am facing the similar error.

When you open the downloaded .pbix in Power BI Desktop and the pages are blank, do you see any error message (even a small warning icon on the visuals), or are the pages completely empty with no visuals at all, as if the pages themselves have no content?
Are you power bi admin ?
Which type of licence do you have ?
Today I found myself having the exact same problem. Power BI Desktop got updated to the most recent version on both of my PCs via the Microsoft Store. Now when I go online and download a PBIX (seemingly any), it opens up with no pages and no visuals. Datasets are there, no visuals. I put in a Microsoft Support case.
