Empty columns appearing in PowerBi

Hello everyone,

 

Has anyone of you experienced the problem when i load new data source i get empty Columns, with names Column32, Column33, ... Column107 etc. These are all empty. How can i stop this generation of empty Columns?

Hi @VeljkoP98 ,

Can you please share a pbix or some dummy data that keep the raw data structure with expected results? It should help us clarify your scenario and test to coding formula.

Have you checked the 'Advanced Editor' in power query? I know for csv files this needs to be manually updated when new columns are added or removed, not sure about excel.

What is your source data ? is it CSV ?
Ensure you delte unnecessary columns in Power Query

It seems that it reads the columns from Excel even after last column that has data, it reads other columns even thou they are empty

It is simple Excel file. 

I want to be sure that they won't appear when i load new excel file source.
