Hi there,
i've a ODATA Query which works great. It source is Dynamics NAV.
When i tried to copy my PowerBI to another Company i switched the ODATA feed to the other company.
I was surprised that fields, which i added manually as a text variable in Dynamics NAV was not filled for that company. Rest of the query works.
So i opened the ODATA in browser and the data is there:
"Month": "4-2024", "Monthbefore": "3-2024", "Dim1Filter": "", "Dim2Filter": "", "Dim3Filter": "", "Dim4Filter": "", "CostCenterFilter": "", "CostObjectFilter": "", "CashFlowFilter": "", "G_LBudgetFilter": "", "CostBudgetFilter": "", "Bold": true, "Indentation": 0, "CurrHeadline": "Gesamtleistung", "Row_No": "U00", "SortNo": 1, "CurrDescription": "Gesamtleistung"
What i need is CurrHeadline, SortNo and CurrDescription. All fields are added on a page Object in Dynamics NAV. The Data is in JSON, but PowerBI shows empty. So i switched back to the other company and it works. The power BI is exactly the same.
Row_No is showing in Power BI and it's a field directly from database table.
The service tier is the same for both companies.
Why is this happening? I mean, the JSON does have all the data and doesn't know where it comes from. How come PowerBI doesn't show only these fields?
Thanks!
Hi Dacja ,
Regarding your question, you mentioned that the fields you added manually were not showing values correctly.The JSON automated table detection in power BI may not always work as expected and may require manual adjustments to the steps in Power Query. View the steps that have been applied.

Hi Wenbin,
i tried to delete all steps, i tried to reconnect the the ODATA source from scratch. It doesn't work.
