Employee Turnover YTD

Hello All, 

 

I am new to Power BI, I am trying to create a dashboard to show TTM turnover and same period last year turnover.

 

Here are the fields I have: 

 

Employee Name

Hire Date

Term Date (blank if still active)

 

And then other fields that I would like to filter on (region, location, title, etc)

 

I've read one way to do this is to create a summary table, but I can't quite get it to work.  If someone could post a sample Power BI workbook with a solution - I would greatly appreciate it!  thank you!

    Hi steph15m ,

     

    There are several ways to calculate the YTD based on your data model.

     

    You'd better share your data sample and your desired output so that we can understand your scenario better and give you the most efficient solution.

     

    In addition, you could have a reference of this article which describes how to calculate the YTD.
