Hello everybody,
Our company is attempting to embed a PowerBI report to a Salesforce page. Unfortunately, we are rather new with doing this sort of thing. The following 'guide' was found on github explaining how we are supposed to do this.
We have followed the guide to the letter and checked several times if something was forgotten, but we can not find the problem.
When opening the report, the error is very basic and just says "ERROR FORBIDDEN".
Is there somebody that is familiar with this setup and can tell me where the problem might be?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
Did you end up finding a resolution to your issue? I am experiencing the components loading blank. Can you let us know how you fixed your issue?
Hi @Anonymous ,
The "ERROR FORBIDDEN" message you're encountering typically indicates a permissions or authentication issue.
Please ensure that the Azure AD application has been granted sufficient permissions to access the Power BI report. This includes checking if the service principal used has been assigned the necessary roles in Power BI Service.

The "ERROR FORBIDDEN" error can also occur if there's an issue with the embed token generation. Verify that the embed token is being generated correctly and that it has not expired.

If your setup involves calling Power BI APIs from client-side code, ensure that CORS settings are correctly configured. Salesforce might block requests due to CORS policy, so it's essential to verify this aspect.
