I was trying to figure out if I could embed an instructional video into my Power BI report. I my search, I found that you can embed a Stream Video in a Power App... and I can embed a Power App in Power BI...
So I created a simple Canvas Power App called Test Video that embedded an existing video from Stream. In Power BI Desktop, I added a Power App visual to my Power BI report, added a dummy data column from my model to the Power App visual, then selected my Test Video Power App when prompted.
Everything was really looking promising... the visual displayed the opening screen of my Stream video, but then gave an error stating "There's a problem with the browser."
Has anyone tried this? Is this doomed to fail or can it be made to work?
thanks,
Dale
Hi @Anonymous ,
Why don't you add videos to dashboard directly? I think it is much easier.
Here is the document for your reference:

Thanks, but I don't use dashboards.
Hi @Anonymous ,
You could refer to adding-audio-or-video-to-a-power-bi-report for details. But you couldn't find it in appsource currently, I uploaded it here.
Thanks @v-eachen-msft - I checked it out, but the constant unintended reloading of the video is a non-starter for me.
I felt like I got so close with the Power App visual - does anyone have an idea why that failed or how to make it work? Or is there a suggestion of a better place to ask this question?
thanks,
Dale
