Embed Power Point slide into Power BI

Hi team,

I'm told that you should be able to add a dynamic PPT slide into Power BI, but I'm not seeing the tool to do so. The actual image will display in Power BI as opposed to using a button to link to a URL where the PPT resides. Let me know if you have experience with this.

I had the same challenge and ended up taking screenshots of the PowerPoint slides, then added them as image visuals in Power BI. If you're trying to show timelines or Gantt charts from your presentation, I’ve found www.officetimeline.com super useful—it's helped me quickly generate visuals that I could either screenshot or export and then bring into my Power BI reports without fuss.

I see a video on YouTube labeled "Can you embed PowerPoint into a Power BI App? Let's try!"

It looks possible but what I'm not seeing is how to navigate to the "New Navigation Builder" within workspace in Power BI

As lbendlin said, the current version does not support embedding PowerPoint Pivot into PBI report but rather embedding PBI report into PowerPoint Pivot.

Or you can export the PPT as a GIF (each page is exported as a GIF), and then import it into PBI Desktop as an image, and then create page navigation to achieve a similar effect to PowerPoint.

It's the other way round.  You can dynamically include a Power BI visual in a PowerPoint slide.
