Email trigger based on refreshed data

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm in the right place for a Power Automate/email trigger question.

I have Salesforce linked to a PowerBi report, the report is on a daily refresh which has information about student accommodation. I need to set up an email alert from PowerBi (Not Salesforce) to send the CEO when there's an altercation in one of our locations. So in the example, the CEO would get an email on the 13th April refresh saying something like:

"There has been an altercation today (13/04/2025) in Newcastle involving Jason and Matt."

Is it possible to have a triggered email from what the tabled data reflects in a refresh?

NameDateAltercationLocationInvolving
Dave10/04/2025NoManchester Paul
John11/04/2025NoEdinburghLloyd
Mary12/04/2025NoBristolRhys
Jason 13/04/2025YesNewcastleMatt

Thanks

Rich

  • RichOB , You can try to create flow

    Create a Power Automate Flow:

Go to Power Automate and create a new flow.
Choose the trigger "When a data-driven alert is triggered" from Power BI.
Set Up the Power BI Alert:

In Power BI, create a data alert on the specific visual or data point that indicates an altercation.
For example, you can set an alert on a measure that counts the number of altercations and triggers when this count is greater than 0.
    Configure the Flow:

In the flow, after the trigger, add an action to "Get rows" from the Power BI dataset.
Filter the rows to get the specific data where Altercation is Yes.
    Send an Email:

Add an action to send an email (e.g., using Office 365 Outlook).
Configure the email body to include the details from the filtered data, such as the date, location, and individuals involved
