Hi all,
when I tried to setup system DSN in order to connect Power Bi with Elasticsearch , the following error is returned. Does anyone know it?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I found the solution on my own.
The OBCD driver is not free . You have to pay for that-> Download ODBC Client | Elastic,
but you can ask for a licence trial (30 days) on Kibana managament tab.
Please follow carefully the following instruction
Configuration | Elasticsearch Guide [8.5] | Elastic
ps: I discovered that using elasticSearch API are much better to query on data and free.
Perhaps Elasticsearch is not supported via ODBC.
Hi @croberts21 ,
thanks for your response.
It seems strange that Elasticsearch is not supported, since: Microsoft Power BI Desktop | Elasticsearch Guide [8.5] | Elastic.
Let me know if you require further details.
Thanks,
g.
