Edit the interactions and adjusting filters

I have a table of assets it is filtered using a column to just show the most recent values (this is basically a toggle filter)   I have a line chart that shows the historical values for all assets ...
Need Help

When I click on an asset in the table I want the line chart to filter to the asset and leave everything else about the chart as it is.

Do you mean the filtered item is removed from the view which is the opposite of what a slicer does?

no it filters the dat to the asset, which is good, but filters the data range to 1 point, which is the problem.

      wish I could, thank you for offer. WOuld jsut be nice if in the edit interactions I could select/tick which fields I want it to interact with
