Edit credentiols is failing (Access denied)

When I go into the transform data tab on the query it asks me to edit credentials. When the box pops up it says "You are'nt signed in." . As soon as I click sign in I get an error message. I am on the latest version (Dec 2022) . This seems to happen regularly and I dont understand why.

Any help much appreciated.

@ells69 , Open empty power bi file and sign into that one.

Then open the Power file you want, Go to Home Table -> Data Transformation -> Data Source Setting -> Clear permission, and try again
