Edit Interactions not working
Dears,
I have a line and clustered column chart I want to make them interact together when I press drill down reflected in other visuals, I tried the below steps and still not working with me
Select a Visual: Click on the first visual that you want to use as the interactive filter or driver for the other visual.
Edit Interactions: Go to the Format tab at the top and select Edit interactions. This will make small icons appear above all the other visuals on the page.
Choose Interaction Type:
- Filter icon: If you want the selected visual to filter the other visual, click on the filter icon (funnel shape) above the second visual.

Hi mhablas426
In your image I don't see the icons for interactions turned on.
They should look like this:
Here I am clicked on the line chart and the Interaction icons are appearing on the column chart.
The left most is filter, middle is highlight and the right most is turned off.
Column charts can only filter Line charts.
When interacting with the line chart drilldown it will always filter the column chart not highlight.
In the above I have drilled down from Year to month.

Hi mhablas426
What isn't happening?
Are you clicking a data point in the column chart and it isn't filtering the line chart?
Or are you drilling in one visual and the other isn't drilling?

Hi mhablas426
yeah sometimes you may get no option for edit interaction on chart.
try to add new page add both the chart from scratch and check for edit interaction option again.
or incase after adding a new page still you are not able to see the edit interaction option.. closed everything and satrt power bi desktop a new file then try to add both chart and apply some edit interaction.
I hope I answered your question!
