Edit Interactions Purple vs Gray Color
I have 2 years slicers. When I apply "Edit Interactions", I see one of them is in gray color and other is in purple color, like below,
The reason why I am asking is that the one with color says no filters applied,
While the purple one says all filters applied,
This is confusing and creting issues for me. How can I make this purple color to treat as gray?
Hi , iqb
According to your problem description, after you turn on the "Edit Interaction" option of PBI, the selected visual is gray, and the other unselected visuals are purple (that is, the theme color of your visual), which is the expected behavior of the "Edit Interaction" option function of PBI, he will appear these icons for each other visual to show the current interaction with your selected visual, and the icon's color problem you said, I think this has something to do with the position of this visual in the report, or it may not be the icon of the interaction corresponding to this visual, you can click on the visual of the purple icon to see if there is a problem with the icon of other visuals
On your other point, different visuals show different filter application cases, and I think this is also a good display situation, because when you use a page level filter, the filter case applies to all visuals of the entire report page, but when you use a visual filter, each visual can set the visual The situation of filter can be different, can be set separately, and this also depends on the selection of other slicers, so you can check according to the points I said above, this is the official document about the three levels filter in PBI, please refer to it in detail:
