Hi @Anonymous ,
Based on the existing replies, I created simple data and used measures to achieve the desired effect.
This is the simple data:
1.If you want to get the total earliest and latest dates, you can use the following measures:
Maxdate = MAXX(ALL('Table'),'Table'[Date])Mindate = MINX(ALL('Table'),'Table'[Date])
Result:
2.To get the respective earliest and latest dates for each material number, use the following measures:
Maxdate2 = CALCULATE(MAX('Table'[Date]),ALLEXCEPT('Table','Table'[MaterialNumber]))Mindate2 = CALCULATE(MIN('Table'[Date]),ALLEXCEPT('Table','Table'[MaterialNumber]))
Result:

Hello @Anonymous
In-order to show the earliest date and the latest date you can sort the date column.
If this isn't your issue then please share some demo data with how would you like to visualize the data
Thanks & Regards...
@Anonymous Generally you would use MAX and MIN but not really enough information to be certain.
Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882
Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490
The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
