Earliest and latest date

Hello guys, I would like to show the earliest date and the latest date of my materialnumbers in my dataset? How can I fix this? Thanks for your help !

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    Based on the existing replies, I created simple data and used measures to achieve the desired effect.

     

    This is the simple data:

     

    1.If you want to get the total earliest and latest dates, you can use the following measures:

     

     

    Maxdate = MAXX(ALL('Table'),'Table'[Date])
    Mindate = MINX(ALL('Table'),'Table'[Date])

     

     

    Result:

     

    2.To get the respective earliest and latest dates for each material number, use the following measures:

     

     

    Maxdate2 = CALCULATE(MAX('Table'[Date]),ALLEXCEPT('Table','Table'[MaterialNumber]))
    Mindate2 = CALCULATE(MIN('Table'[Date]),ALLEXCEPT('Table','Table'[MaterialNumber]))

     

     

    Result:

Anonymous Generally you would use MAX and MIN but not really enough information to be certain.
