Hi,
The following function was working fine until I try to use it again this month. Do anyone experience the same or have any solution? I am trying to sum the volume by month but the Earlier() does not regsiter any column selection.
Calculate (
Sum ( Table1.volume,
Filter( Table1,
Month ( Table1.date ) = Month ( Earlier ( Table1.date ))
)
)
Thank you so much,
Jeff

Hi, @Anonymous
I have no problem testing this formula on my side. You can check if the columns of data involved in the formula have changed.
Sample data:
Column = Calculate (Sum ( 'Table'[Volume]),
Filter('Table',
Month ('Table'[Date]) = Month(Earlier ('Table'[Date] ))))
There are other ways you can try.
Column 2 = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[Volume]),
FILTER(ALL('Table'),
[Date].[Month]=EARLIER('Table'[Date].[Month])))
Month = MONTH([Date])
Column 4 = CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[Volume]),
FILTER(ALL('Table'),
[Month]=EARLIER('Table'[Month])))
