Our data source is postgreSQL(ODS) in the AWS cloud. As a security measure, we need to authenticate database in each refresh using dynamic authentication. The username is static but the password will be dynamically generated when we execute the script we have created and this is performed for the SSO authentication to achieve the data security. I could possibly think that I will be able to enter the credentials for the first time by generating the password from the script. But how would I do that every time I refresh my dataset?
Users who will login to the PowerBI service will be also SSO authenticated!
I am not sure whether PowerBI can anyway/anywhere run a script and generate a password through that script and pass it on to our datasource (PostGresSQL). Please let me know if this is duable in PowerBI?
By Default Authentication in Power BI
Thanks.

Hi @vishanshul ,
For your scenario, I'm afraid that we cannot achieve the dynamically password for your authentication.
From my knowledge, if we use web connector and Anonymous credential, that could be possibale.

Cherry
