Dynamically color selected month in bar chart

Hi there,

I have a bar chart where my month slicer is *not* applied as I need to see all months. However, I do want to color the month which has been selected (December) in my barchart. I've attempted to do this by created a measure called My_MonthSelected_Measure... but after that point I get stuck.

Question: Could anyone please suggest how I go about dynamically colouring the selected month my barchart?

Hi @michellepace 

There is still a better way which you might like more.

Click on the filter on your report then , Go to 

Format --> Edit interactions

You will see the below options just on top of the bar chart 

Select the middle one as shown above.
