Hi! A brain teaser, or something simple for some...
I have a number of sales orders 'Order Headers' with sales order numbers [Internal Order No.].
Each sales order has multiple lines 'Order Lines'.
Each order line is linked to a product 'Products' and a warehouse 'Warehouses'.
Each order line may have a backorder quantity [Qty Backordered].
'Products' and 'Warehouses' are star-schemad to a table showing on-hand quantities [Qty on Hand] of each [Product] / [Warehouse] combination.
The requirement: provide a list of [Internal Order No.] records from the 'Order Headers' table, that are completely fulfillable based on a selected number of 'Warehouses'.
The selected 'Warehouses' may or may not include the [Warehouse] that is referenced on the order line.
The idea is for the users to be able to select a number of warehouses in their region, and from this, inform them which sales orders may be completely fulfilled based on the on-hand quantities in that selected number of warehouses. They would then initiate supply-chain transfers from the regional warehouses so that they can fully deliver on what's been ordered, per sales order.
Any takers?
