Dynamically Limited Matrix Based off Parameter Slicer

Hello,

I am recreating a report in Power BI that currently is built in Tableau.  In the Tableau version they have a parameter slicer that filters the report for weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.  That part I was able to replicate, however, they also have in some way limited the results in the matrix to only show current week, month, quarter and previous week, month, quarter.  Images below for reference:

I've tried using top N in the filters pane, but that only allows you to use one per visual.  In this case I would need 3 top N's, one each for week, month and quarter depending on which option is selected in the slicer.  Also, there is a separate line chart that requires all weeks, months, quarters to be displayed, so the limit must only be in the matrix.

Appreciate any help that can be provided.

I was able to get it to work using a calculated column with the SWITCH function to label the weeks I needed with a 1 and the rest of the weeks with a 0.  I then filtered the visual to that new column = 1 and it worked.
There are probably other ways to do it more efficiently using the existing field parameters and measures, though.
