Dynamic url filter from tile?

Hey guys, Power BI newb here. I'm trying to create a dynamic graph for some rain gauges. In my source URL, if you simply change the values then it updates the data.

https://nwis.waterdata.usgs.gov/usa/nwis/uv/?cb_00060=on&format=rdb&site_no=08049500&period=&begin_date=2018-06-01&end_date=2018-09-01

So for this url, its showing the flow (00060 is the code for flow), at gauge number 08049500 during the dates from june to september of this year. If I have a list of codes, gauge numbers and dates, is there some sort of way to select them on my tiles and have them change the source url? Like I want to be able to click on the gauge, code and adjust the time slider and have that change the URL, halp?

Hi whiskeybravo91,

As i known, one way is to save the URLs in one column previously, another way is to use query parameter to switch the date in the url, for more details, please refer to: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/deep-dive-into-query-parameters-and-power-bi-templates/.

Yea I figured it out (finally!). I was able to save my lists of sites/dates/codes as a query, then use those as parameters. Then I used an adanced URL setting for data, at which point I could insert my 4 parameters. I'm still ironing the kinks out, but it's pretty slick. Thank you for the link!
