Dynamic source column in slicer based upon selected value in another slicer

    Hi rambler ,

     

    It is not supported to get dynamic source column in slicer based upon selected value in another slicer in Power BI Desktop currently .While you can post your new idea here https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas , to improve the Power BI Desktop.

     

    It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

     

    To work around this issue, you can select the three columns Col1,Col2,and Col3 in Query Editor, right click and choose Unpivot columns. Then Put the Attribute into Slicer One. When make some selections(ex: select Col1 ) in Slicer One, it will return the Col1' content in Table visual or other visuals, you can choose some value in Table visual or other visuals, which equivalent to make some selections in the Slicer Two.
