Dynamic percent change between separate years?
I'm trying to create something that'll dynamically display the difference between different years i.e if I select in my slicer 2019, 2021 and 2022, it'll display the percent difference from 2019 to 2021, and 2021 to 2022 - completely excluding 2020 (COVID year).
This can be easily acheived in Excel using a pivot table but i'm struggling with PowerBi and the various uses of DAX. I have created a SUM measure for ItemTotal, and my own CalendarTable has a date heirachy, how would I achieve this?
All other threads i've viewed seem to be comparisons for previous years via SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR, this doesn't work when you exclude a year.
Thanks. 🙂
